Double rip that Inke beat me to suspecting SK instead of Arson (which I do think is more likely. Because this is very... suboptimal arson play ngl. Though to be fair if Namco is the arson/SK, they are a new player so I could write that off as inexperience.)]]

He wasn't going to think about it. He wasn't going to think about yesterday. About how he'd led the charge to kill an innocent. No, he had to look to now. To the chaos that was already unfolding around him.

"Perhaps the Lugia is a killer, they might as well be openly admitting to it." He shook his head, tail lashing. "But we have more important things to worry about. I said before that there was a chance there would be two town doctors, and it looks like I was right." But now they had to pick the correct one. Or else...

"At best, I suspect we outnumber the Mafia six to four. At worst... well. one wrong move could mean death for all of us." He didn't want to think about that.

He moved on to the next subject. "You all want to know my skill? Really? Are you sure?" Oh that was going to get him no favors. "Fine, but I already know it's not going to make any of you trust me more, so I don't know why I'm bothering.

"Once, like some of you, I was human. My home was overrun with crime, large and small, and nothing ever seemed to get done. So I took matters into my own hands. Some of that desire for justice seems to have followed me here. I don't desire to get blood on my hands, but believe me. If you try to kill me, blood will be shed."

[[So my role name is "Heroic Vengence," and the role itself is Vengeful. Short version is that it's a passive role where if I'm lynched, I can choose to kill one of the players that lynched me. I've been hesitant to bring it up because I figured doing so, if a lynch train started on me, would encourage Mafia members to not hop on that train. Plus, from what I've read, claiming vengeful townie as a vengeful townie is... suboptimal. It's also not something easily provable without getting myself lynched so it doesn't really help to clear away any suspicion lol]]

[[Granted, but that should be all you can get from it. You should either get a "you successfully checked [target]", or a "no result", meaning you didn't successfully check the target because something blocked or stopped you.

The Checker role, as it is seen on the wiki, does not exist to check if the target's action worked. It only tells you about your action. The "no result" is your "failure" readout.

It has no direct effect on the targeted player; it thus serves as an investigation to determine whether something is interfering with the Checker's actions.

Each night, a Checker may choose one other player to target. If the attempt to target the player succeeds, the Checker will be informed that it succeeded.

Example Checker results include "You checked target" and "Your action failed, and you did not receive a result"; in other words, a Checker is in effect an investigative role that produces no useful information about the target.

Nowhere in any of this does it say that you should get any information about the target's action. I am side-eyeing the fact that you seem to genuinely believe that your role gives you information about the target's action, and that you say your role PM does not differ from the wiki role in any way.]]

[[Ah, I've been misreading the wiki then, as that's what was linked in my PM. My PM does give me the ability to see whether or not my target's action failed or succeeded. I get either a "success", "failure", or "no result" so it has a bit more utility than the standard Checker.]]

[[Okay, one more question (I think), and then I'll stop spamming the thread with so many short posts: Why did you check Miyako last night? Lusamine was probably random on N0, Mewtwo makes sense after Day 1, Arctozolt is obvious, but why her? She hadn't claimed anything.]]

[[Lusamine's death flavour (bright light, scorch mark). It correlates to Miyako's character, who had a Persona that specialised in Fire/Light/Holy magic (as well as her being present within the flavour), it gave the impression that she might've been the Vig and I wanted to see if the Mafia caught onto it. Obviously, they did as she was blocked N3.]]
